Summer road trip 2020
In the summer of 2019, we packed the car, rolled the windows down, and chased the sun across a string of small towns and long highways. We hit diners that hadn’t changed in decades, got lost twice, and laughed about it both times. Nights were for cheap motels and stargazing; days were for discovering places we never planned to be. By the time we made it home, the car was dusty, the playlist was worn out, and we had a stack of memories that still feel warm.
Stranded Above the Clouds with Friends
I remember traveling with my four friends to a remote village perched atop the great mountain of the Kakasus. The journey was full of anticipation, but it took an unexpected turn when our car broke down on a narrow mountain road. The tires slipped, and we found ourselves stuck, with no other vehicles in sight. For about thirty minutes, we waited, surrounded by the sweeping expanse of the mountains, literally sitting above the clouds. We sat together near the edge, talking about interesting things—life, dreams, and the adventure we were on—while the world felt both vast and quiet around us.
Eventually, another car arrived, and the people inside tried to help us. With their assistance, we managed to change our spare tire and continued on our way, but that pause on the mountain, the sense of camaraderie and wonder, has stayed with me ever since.

Building MemoR in Two Weeks
In December 2025, I embarked on an exhilarating journey to create a startup called MemoR, and I did it in just two weeks. The idea sparked from a desire to help people capture and preserve their memories in a meaningful way. I remember the first day vividly; I was there for the developer, supporting him through the long hours of coding and brainstorming. We faced numerous challenges—tight deadlines, technical glitches, and moments of self-doubt—but each hurdle only fueled our determination. The thrill of seeing our vision come to life was indescribable.
When we finally launched, I felt an overwhelming sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that our hard work had paid off.

A Father's Brave Rescue Adventure
In the summer of 2020, during a fishing trip with my father, Luffy D Monkey, he shared an incredible story that has stayed with me ever since. He told me about a daring adventure where he saved a friend from a prison island. The way he recounted the details filled me with admiration and awe. His determination and bravery shone through every word. Hearing about his loyalty and willingness to risk everything for a friend made me realize how much I aspire to embody those same qualities in my own life.
That moment on the boat, surrounded by the calm waters and the gentle sounds of nature, deepened my respect for him and inspired me to never give up, just like he never does.

The Summer of Endless Adventures
As I sit here reminiscing, one particular summer from my childhood stands out vividly in my mind. It was a time when the world felt boundless, and every day was an adventure waiting to unfold. I remember the sun shining brightly, casting a golden hue over everything, and the sound of laughter filling the air. My best friend, Tommy, and I would spend our days exploring the woods behind our houses, armed with nothing but our imaginations and a couple of makeshift swords made from sticks.
One day, we decided to embark on a quest to find the 'hidden treasure' that we were sure lay deep within the forest. We packed our backpacks with sandwiches, juice boxes, and a couple of old maps we had drawn ourselves, marking the spots where we believed the treasure might be buried. As we ventured deeper into the woods, the trees seemed to whisper secrets, and the sunlight danced through the leaves, creating a magical atmosphere.
After hours of searching, we stumbled upon a clearing where we found an old, rusted tin box half-buried in the ground. Our hearts raced with excitement as we dug it out, convinced we had struck gold. Inside, we discovered a collection of old coins, marbles, and a few faded photographs of people we didn’t know. Though it wasn’t the treasure we had imagined, it felt like we had uncovered a piece of history. We spent the rest of the afternoon pretending to be pirates, dividing our 'loot' and planning our next adventure.
Looking back, it wasn't just the treasure that made that summer special; it was the bond I shared with Tommy. We were inseparable, two kids lost in a world of our own making, where anything was possible. Those carefree days filled with laughter and imagination shaped who I am today, reminding me of the importance of friendship and the joy of exploration. Even now, when I think of that summer, I can't help but smile, grateful for the memories that continue to warm my heart.
